Coaching for drinking & drug use
You don’t have
to quit to start.
Cut back, stop, or figure out what you want. Ninebark is an AI coaching app to help you work through it, one conversation at a time.
Free during beta. Your goal, your pace. Coaching, not therapy.
Your chats are not used for model training or advertising. How privacy works
A different kind of conversation. EXAMPLE
I said I’d stop after two. Then I didn’t.
OK, let’s explore that more. What was happening when you reached for the third?
Long day. I just wanted to switch off.
Sounds like drinking was a way to put the day down. Want to look at another way to get that same break?
Illustrative conversation only. The app’s responses will vary.
Developed by psychologists who specialize in substance use.
No required labels. No lectures. You choose the goal.
A small place to start
What would you
like to be different?
Three quick questions. One possible place to start. You don’t need to know your goal yet.
This reflection stays in this page. Your answers aren’t saved or sent with signup.
What brings you here?
Support for the moments that matter
Something to work with,
when you need it.
01
Talk through an urge.
Use the chat to slow things down and explore what you want to do next.
02
Make sense of a pattern.
Look at what happened, what you got from it, and what you’d like to try differently.
03
Try a practical skill.
Find short lessons and tools for stress, difficult feelings, and making a plan.
The people behind the coach
Built by people
who do this work.
Ninebark was developed by clinical psychologists who help people change their drinking, drug use, and other behaviors.
Its tools, and the way the coach asks questions, draw on Motivational Interviewing, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and self-compassion. The approaches have a research foundation; this beta is where we learn how helpful the app is.

Personal conversations. Clear privacy.
Space to be honest.
Your conversations are used only to support your coaching and help you learn about yourself—never for model training, advertising, or staff review.
No staff reading your conversations.
Staff don’t read your chats, the summaries, or the personal information in your coach’s memory.
Transcripts deleted after a break.
After five hours without a chat, Ninebark creates a summary and deletes the transcript. The summary is kept so your coach can pick up the thread.
Memory you can delete.
Your coach keeps summaries and notes drawn from your conversations so it can build on what you’ve said. You can delete all your data at any time in Settings.
A few things before you start.
Whether you’re cutting back, stopping, or still deciding, you can start with the question you have today.
